Dr Amit Ganguly is a trained hepato pancreatico biliary and liver transplant surgeon trained at Surgical Gastroenterology at Global Hospital in Hyderabad, which is renowned for its liver transplant program, and has also worked at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. Since 2010, he has been a Senior Consultant at CHL Group of Hospitals. He has been associated with liver transplant programme of CHL hospital and now care CHL hospital since inception. He is an active member of transplant team in both cadavaric and liver related transplant. He has also performed complex liver and pancreatic resections , which needs high skill set and surgical acumen.
He is a life member of several esteemed organizations, including the IASG, ASI, IAGES, and the Indian chapter of the IHPBA. He received the FIAGES fellowship in 2010 and served on the IHPBA executive committee from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, he has taught in various skill courses and conferences, sharing expertise and knowledge in the field.
